在第17世Gyalwa噶瑪巴神聖領導下的傳統噶舉派白教之西方佛教靈性學習中心
The meaning of life involves the whole of humanity in an ongoing spiritual evolution toward greater consciousness. Each individual can participate in this progress through an endeavor to attain Enlightenment. The great wealth of knowledge in India and Tibet, Burma, Thailand, China, Korea, Japan, Ceylon teaches the Way. In our case it is the Buddhist Path, a system of spiritual development guided by the practice of meditation that reveals this Way. Ours is a "spiritual practice" orientated fellowship. The Dharma Fellowship is the joint venture of all its members and our website reflects this. May this site be of some good in the general distribution of spiritual wisdom and help to make the world a better place for everyone. Meditation PracticeThose seeking group meditation practice should get in touch either with our Dharma House centre in San Francisco, California, or the Hermitage on Denman Island, B.C., Canada. Daily morning and evening Kagyu puja is performed by Bhikshu Karma Tinley at Dharma House, located at 75 Hartford Street in San Francisco, California. Monday evenings at 7pm is dedicated to Vajrayana practice. Calm-abiding meditation is held every Wednesday evenings, also at 7pm. The Venerable Bhikshu holds an informal Dharma discussion each and every Sunday when he is in residence at the centre. If you live in the Bay Area and are looking for a perfect place to meditate, then please get in touch with Bhikshu Karma Tinley at the Dharma House. Meditation in British Columbia Monday and Wednesday evening meditation is held each week at 7:30pm at the Hermitage on Denman Island, British Columbia, Canada under the guidance of Lama Kunzang. The Hermitage also holds five day, seven day and ten day silent retreats, open to all who are interested in learning and practicing meditation.
